Just like any bike project, you’ve got to dive into any endeavor without hesitation. You know from previous experience that things will go wrong, stuff you can’t anticipate, in a word: life. Is it a reason to never endeavor? For many, yes. For the few that recklessly throw themselves into the unknown, the challenges are formidable and failures abound. The rewards are hard to see and words can’t describe. To others that endeavor an expression or some undefined “fuh! doo! whooo” gibberish acknowledged with nod is extent of our dialect.
This site is such an endeavor. It’s a box of parts in the corner of the garage that you can’t put out of your mind. It silently beckons you and waits for you patiently. Finally digging in with delusional plans, you get started only to realize elbow deep there’s no way it’s going to be that easy.
Then again, everything’s easy once you’ve got it figured out.
